I consider it a great honor and privilege to serve as the Mayor of the historic city of Kandy, the second capital of Sri Lanka, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to the Temple of the Tooth Relic, which houses the sacred Tooth Relic. I consider it my responsibility to protect this unique heritage and guide the city towards sustainable and progressive development.

Kandy is a city with centuries of history, rich cultural and religious significance, and a vibrant population representing many traditions.
