A special workshop for pre-school teachers within the Kandy city limits was held on 2026.06.22 at the E.L. Senanayake Children's Library Auditorium in Kandy.
The inaugural and concluding ceremonies were held under the patronage of Kandy Mayor Mr. Chandrasiri Wijayanayake and Deputy Mayor Mr. Ruwan Galapitiya.
This program was organized by the Municipal Health Department together with the Municipal Public Aid and Welfare Department, and was titled "Communication for Behavioral Change of Pre-school Teachers".
The Health Promotion Bureau Colombo, Children's Secretariat Office, and Clean Sri Lanka Foundation sponsored this program. The workshop was conducted over three days with the coordination of Municipal Health Education Officer Mrs. S.T. Senarathna.
