The certificate awarding ceremony for the winners of the District Public Library Readers' Activity Competition was held on 21.07.2026 at the D.S. Senanayake Public Library Auditorium, Kandy, under the patronage of Mr. Chandrasiri Wijayanayaka, Mayor of Kandy.
A group of Municipal Council members, Mr. H.M.T. Herath, Librarian of D.S. Senanayake Public Library, along with library staff and a group of readers participated in this event.
