The presentation of Rs. 1,000,000 from the Kandy Municipal Council fund to the family members of Mr. Asela Perera of Kandy Municipal Council, who passed away recently in an accident while on duty, the provision of an employment opportunity to Mr. Asela’s wife, and the donation of Rs. 50,000 by Municipal Councillor Mr. Mangala Pushpakumara Rambodagedara, took place on the 13th at the Municipal Council premises under the chairmanship of Mr. Chandrasiri Wijayanayaka, Mayor of Kandy.
